The TriCity Crit is three simultaneous fixed gear criteriums in three different cities of Malaysia battling it out for the top spot for the final in Putrajaya on June 29. Congrats to our sponsored rider Shaiful Ridzlan (Team Wightset) for taking the win in Johor Bahru. Best of luck in the finals.

Ernesto Marenchin's French 75

Ernesto Marenchin is mountain bike racer from Kent, Ohio who specializes in endurance mountain bike events, holds down a 40+ hour work week, and currently holds two professional licensures; one as a Certified Public Accountant and the other as a Professional Mountain Biker. Racing under the Speedgoat banner Ernesto races a full cyclocross season and is a one time Ohio State Elite Cross Champion.

Ernesto intends to take it to the new Cleveland velodrome. Specs include Velocity wheels, Deda bar and stem and Omnium cranks

Our no-nonsense aluminum track star is coming in a new matte black. The straight blade carbon fork is clear-coated glossy to give to set-up some contrast. SID Blue will still be available this year.

Man of Steel Rides Steel

Eric from Smart Bike Parts in Chicago gave us the heads up that they built up a Rum Runner frame for the upcoming Superman flick. Photo shows Clark Kent (played by Henry Cavill) on a gray Rum Runner cruising helmetless in traffic. (Does Superman really need a helmet?)
"Bike had to be unbranded per director's request. His assistant, Jerry Chan, wanted top notch stuff. So Superman is riding a Pake frame with Campy Record Cranks, Phil Wood Hubs, Paul Brake and Lever and looks pretty darn good doing so."
